P.S - In case you've missed the previous posts, I intend to composite a black hole next to the character so he has focus.

Rock 'n' Roll

I started a new animayshun today... it's a line from "This is Spinal Tap" and i'm gonna composite a black hole to the characters side when i've finished... as you can see it's still very much a work in progress... also i'm not crazy about the last pose on "none" so if anyone has any ideas please let me know... peace out! video

linktown

I thought i'd post a few of the links to websites that i like to follow just in case some of you don't know about some of them...

Inspiring Reels: Awesome animation reels: http://www.tofubun.com/inspirin_reels.html

Spungella: I like this one because the host has frequent critiques of students work: http://spungella.blogspot.com/

Chris Chua blog: This guy works for pixar and often posts sketches he does during the day: http://cchua001.blogspot.com/

Cameron Fielding Blog: This dude posts some awesome stuff occasionally: http://fliponline.blogspot.com/

Sean Galloway's blog a.k.a Cheeks: Inspiring characters: http://www.gotcheeks.blogspot.com/

Avalanche Software Blog: Various artists posting artwork: http://avalanchesoftware.blogspot.com/

There are way more and I'll edit this post as I remember them.

Oh I also bought some books fairly recently and would highly recommend Walt Stanchfield: Drawn to Life volumes 1 and 2 and The art of Kung Fu Panda. I'm only about 1/3-1/2 the way through the first volume of Drawn to Life but must say that every time I read from it I feel inspired to draw! That's all for now folks. I'm also interested to hear what other people are watching so if you have a few spare minutes leave a comment. Thanks and enjoy!
